Privacy Policy

Rattle Rock Studios Inc. (“Rattle Rock,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates ADDIX. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you use the ADDIX app and this website.

1. Information we collect

Account information. We collect your email address, user ID, display name, authentication information, and subscription status.

Progress and recovery information. We process the information you choose to enter in ADDIX, including habit names, sobriety dates, check-ins, streaks, relapse or recommitment records, schedules, motivations, and optional cost/time estimates. This can be sensitive personal information.

Rewards and payment-related records. We process point balances, check-in reward activity, redemption requests, payout-verification details, and fraud-prevention records. Payment-card data is handled by the relevant app store or payout provider and is not stored by us unless expressly stated at the time of collection.

Community content. If you use community features, we process posts, comments, messages, moderation reports, and related account information.

Device and usage information. We may receive device, app-version, diagnostic, event, and advertising information through our service providers.

2. How we use information

• Operate, secure, personalize, and improve ADDIX.
• Authenticate accounts, synchronize progress, and provide reminders.
• Calculate and administer points, rewards, cash-out requests, and fraud controls.
• Process subscriptions, respond to support requests, and meet legal obligations.
• Measure product performance and advertising effectiveness where permitted.

3. Service providers and disclosures

We disclose information to service providers that help us operate ADDIX: Supabase for authentication and database services; RevenueCat, Google Play, and Apple for subscription and purchase processing; PostHog for product analytics; Google AdMob and Tapjoy for eligible advertising and offerwall features; and payout, identity-verification, hosting, email, or support providers selected for our reward program.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or our services, or in connection with a corporate transaction. We do not sell sensitive recovery information.

4. Advertising and rewards

Advertising partners may process device identifiers, IP address, app interaction, and ad/offer completion data to deliver and measure rewards. Reward completion may be verified before points are credited. Cash-out availability, verification, and eligibility are governed by our Terms of Use.

5. Retention and deletion

We retain account and progress information while your account remains active, unless a longer period is required for legal, security, dispute-resolution, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes. You can delete your account in the app or on our account deletion page. Deletion removes or de-identifies app data subject to records we must retain for legal and financial obligations.

6. Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis for processing. To make a request, contact privacy@addixapp.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

For Canadian users, we collect, use, and disclose personal information for the purposes described here and seek meaningful consent where required. You may contact our privacy officer at privacy@addixapp.com with questions or complaints.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

ADDIX is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Do not use ADDIX if you do not meet the minimum age required in your jurisdiction.
