Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of ADDIX, operated by Rattle Rock Studios Inc. (“Rattle Rock,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Canadian corporation. By creating an account or using ADDIX, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required where you live, to use ADDIX. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information and may not create accounts through bots, automation, or deceptive means.

2. ADDIX is not medical care

ADDIX is a self-improvement and tracking tool. It is not medical, psychological, addiction-treatment, crisis, or therapeutic advice and is not a substitute for qualified professional care. If you are in danger or need urgent help, contact local emergency or crisis services.

3. Subscriptions and purchases

ADDIX may offer free and paid features, including subscriptions and one-time purchases. Google Play or Apple processes in-app purchases under its own terms. Prices, taxes, trials, renewals, cancellation, and refund options are presented by the applicable store. Deleting your ADDIX account does not cancel an active store subscription.

4. Points and cash-out rewards

ADDIX may award points for eligible check-ins, advertising, offers, promotions, or other activities that we identify in the app. Point awards may be delayed, adjusted, withheld, or reversed when activity is incomplete, invalid, fraudulent, automated, abusive, or otherwise inconsistent with these Terms.

• Points are promotional credits. They are not money, a bank account, property, or a guarantee of payment.
• Cash-out. Points may be submitted for a cash-out only when the in-app threshold, supported region, account status, and any verification requirements are satisfied. A submission is not approved until we confirm it.
• Rate and thresholds. The point-to-cash ratio, available rewards, minimum thresholds, supported countries, and processing times are displayed in ADDIX and may vary by reward option. Current program rules and ratios will be conspicuously available before redemption.
• Verification and review. We may require identity, age, tax, payment-account, or anti-fraud verification before approving or paying a reward. We may reject or reverse a redemption where permitted by law.
• No transfer or sale. Points and rewards may not be sold, transferred, exchanged, pledged, or combined across accounts.
• Program changes. We may modify, suspend, or end the rewards program prospectively where permitted by law, including for security, legal, funding, or operational reasons. Material changes will be communicated in the app or through this site.

5. Pre-registration promotions

Launch bonuses and other promotions are subject to stated eligibility, region, platform, and timing rules. Unless stated otherwise, they are limited to one per eligible user and account. Google Play pre-registration rewards are delivered and consumed according to Google Play’s applicable terms and the promotion disclosure shown on the store listing.

6. Acceptable use

You may use ADDIX only for personal, lawful purposes. You may not reverse engineer the app; bypass feature, reward, or subscription controls; exploit offers; submit false information; interfere with other users; scrape data; or violate applicable laws.

7. User and community content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, display, and moderate that content as needed to operate ADDIX. You must not post unlawful, threatening, hateful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Intellectual property

ADDIX, its branding, software, designs, and content are owned by Rattle Rock or its licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use ADDIX for personal, non-commercial purposes under these Terms.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

ADDIX is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific results, or reward availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rattle Rock is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages. Our aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the greater of CAD $50 or the amount you paid us for ADDIX in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Account deletion

You may delete your account from ADDIX or through our account deletion page. See the Privacy Policy for retention details.

11. Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Canadian province or territory where Rattle Rock Studios Inc. has its registered office, together with applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We may update these Terms; the effective date above will identify the latest version.
